Coronavirus: EHC plan assessments

We know this is a challenging and difficult time for our SEND families and we are working hard to keep the EHC plan process moving.

Assessments for an EHC plan may look different as it becomes more difficult to do our work face to face.  We may need to do more by telephone or video calls where possible and you may be asked to provide an email address for communication purposes.

Our decision-making panels are moving to online meetings and schools are also exploring different ways to undertake Annual Reviews. We'll continue to review this.

During this period, we are doing our best to make every reasonable endeavour to support children and young people with SEND in our communities and to protect from coronavirus.
