Domestic violence group
Domestic violence (DV) and domestic abuse groups can have a powerful impact in changing people from victims to survivors.
We work with UAVA (United Against Violence and Abuse) to provide group work support for any male or female experiencing sexual and or domestic violence.
The groups can help understand the impact of these experiences and help build confidence and self-esteem. Learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships, traits, personas and warning signs of abuse.
The groups currently on offer are: Freedom, Recovery toolkit, Unbroken, Unbreakable. Contact your nearest centre for more information.
If you are, or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse or sexual violence you can call UAVA’s help line on 0808 80 20028
In any emergency where you are concerned about your safety or the safety of anyone else, please contact the police on 999
